1987 I began my studies to become a visual arts teacher at the University of the Arts.
1990 I started working as a news graphic designer for Hufvudstadsbladet (HBL) on a freelance basis.
1992-1994 I worked as a regular employee for Prossessorilehti at Erikoislehdet. And every no and then for Hifi-lehti.
1993 I became a permanent employee as a news graphic artist at HBL. Part of the time at HBL I was responsible for the web pages and for about two years in the early 2000s I worked as a writing journalist.
1998 I took my Master of Arts degree.
2007-2009 I worked, in addition to HBL, as a regular freelancer for Prossessorilehti which was then part of Sanomamagazines.
2012 I resigned from HBL and started a one-year temporary position as a visual arts teacher on the training for graphic artists at Östra Nyland's vocational institute. I was also head of the culture department with budget responsibility,
2013 I became a visual arts teacher at Lyceiparkens school in Borgå, where I taught grades 7-9.
2014 I resigned and started working again as a freelance graphic designer, mostly for HBL. I worked with layout, news graphics and illustrations.
2015-2018 I worked regularly at HBL on a freelance basis. The tasks included layout, news graphics and illustrations.
2019 I became a permanent employee at HBL on a part-time basis as a news graphic designer.
2020 I started making layouts for the magazine Affärsmagasinet Forum in addition to my work at HBL.
2022 I was making layouts for HBL:s childrens newspaper in addition to my work at the main HBL.
1.3.2023 I started working entirely as a freelance graphic designer.
